Welcome! I’m Peitricia Mae aka prairiegirltransplanted. I’m a 30-something (more “something” than “30”) coffee-drinking, book-reading, technical-writing, kid-wrangling, bread-baking, Mennonite-identifying, Canadian passport-holding, US-living, Jesus-following gal. I like parallel structure, quadrupel ales, pretending I know French, and debating the merits of the various Doctors Who (10th for the win, but will accept 11th….).

The Husband

Loves playing hockey and binge-watching Netflix. Plays the Oscar to my Felix and ensures that I never am allowed to get comfortable get stuck in my ways.

The Girl

Changes hair colours every few weeks and considers “wear a costume” to be the best response to a rough day at school. Builds Gehry-worthy structures in Minecraft and sleeps in like they’re giving out medals.

The Boy

Knows every type of weapon on CS:Go but also knows not to betray this knowledge to his pacifist mother. Has a soft heart for babies and his mama (shhhh), but is still a total tween bad-a$$.
